The Endeavours Journey with flax flowers

The Endeavour, Captain James Cook,

After finding this antique image of The Endeavour, I spent allot of time in photoshop restoration, to offer you this….. With the use of 5 firing, a blue celadon glaze depicting New Zealand’s coastline and silk screened decals of our native bush and Tui in flight. I aspired to achieve, a glimpse of The Endeavour approaching New Zealand for the first time.

All wall plaques are hand made from New Zealand stoneware/porcelain clay and undergoes 5 firing: bisk 1000, gloss 1200, decal 800, gloss 1200, decal 800. Insuring images won’t fade or rub off (dishwasher safe)
